It’s a recession. Times are tough. Your dollar just doesn’t get you as many chicken nuggets off the value menu as it used to. In the mess of an economical climate that it is today, more and more graduates are not landing jobs after college, which can lead to the assumption that going to college in the first place was a bad financial decision. Truth is, people are just too pessimistic and uncreative to see the plus side of earning your degree despite the unemployment numbers. So if you find yourself trying to defend your lack of employment post graduation, support your decision by trying out one of these, shall we say, artfully worded explanations?
