CT catches up with One Life to Live star, Farah Fath, as she transitions to reality television in her new show Dirty Soap, which focuses on the lives of seven soap stars and a wife.

So tell me a little bit about Dirty Soap.

Dirty Soap is a new show on E! documenting the lives of seven soap stars and a wife. It’s like a behind the scenes soap opera.

What was it like filming and was it difficult opening up your real life to the cameras?

It has been a fairly awkward experience having no script. Letting my guard down
and becoming vulnerable for the world to see has been a challenge but the more we film the more comfortable I am becoming. I really am doing my best to forget the cameras are there and not censor myself,
no matter what backlash may come.

What’s your life really like outside of daytime drama? Is there more drama on set or off?

I think ON set but after watching Dirty Soap I’m starting to wonder.

What can viewers expect from the show?

You’ll get to see how intertwined the soap opera community is. Off the set we’re friends, we’re lovers, we’re rivals; we laugh, we cry and we fight.

Which has more drama: One Life to Live or Dirty Soap?

Oh gosh, hopefully One Life to Live but Dirty Soap is going to try to compete with the big boys!

Any regrets about what will be shown?

Probably! LOL!

What are some of your fears from doing the show?

How they edit us.

What do you dream of doing next?

I’m an actor first and foremost. My life long dream is to be cast in a sitcom.

If you could work with any actor, who would it be?

I have a bunch but let me just pick one, Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Can you tell me one juicy secret about yourself that people might be surprised to know about you?

I don’t know how juicy this is but I am super modest. You will never see me do a nude scene, I will never pose for Maxim and I have zero interest in being a sex symbol.
